Lip Sync Battle

Hey Music Lovers,

By now we’re all starting to realize something; staying at home isn’t so bad! Especially when you have extra time to get together with your roommates, family members, or significant others to create Jasper’s best lip sync video (and if you’re sick of them already or self isolating on your own – create a solo video)!

Brew some coffee, stretch those lips, take a shower (if you want), and show us your best lip syncing skills for a chance to win some great prizes including tickets to the 2020 Jasper Folk Music Festival.

I’M IN, WHAT NEXT?

1. Assemble your band or go solo (please follow social distancing rules, only create videos with those you share a house with OR film your videos in separate homes and compile them together!)

2. Choose an appropriate song* (bonus points if it’s a song from a previous JFMF artist)

3. Learn the words

4. Choreograph some dance moves

5. Create fun costumes, props & memories

6. Rehearse, rehearse, rehearse!

7. Film your Lip Sync video

8. Submit your video application details via the application link below**

9. Follow the application details to upload your video**

*Videos are to be family friendly; any videos that contain inappropriate language, clothing or dancing will be immediately disqualified

**Videos are to be submitted by April 25, 2020 at noon

OK, THEN WHAT?

1. Submitted videos will be uploaded to our Facebook page on April 25, 2020

2. The video with the most “likes” by May 2, 2020 wins the People’s Choice Award

3. The JFMF Committee will select a group for Best Costume

4. The JFMF Committee will select their favourite video for the Overall Best Performance
